About the Course
TEMS: Tactical Emergency Medical Services
TEMS is a building block that expands on the tactical scope of the Active Shooter Hostile Event Response (ASHER). Once your members have gone through an ASHER class and want to expand on the tactical scope, take our 40 hour TEMS course. Whether you're Law Enforcement that wants to apply EMS Training, or you're EMS that wants to apply Tactical Training, this course is for you. One common misconception of TEMS is that it is only for those EMS who will be armed, or for Law Enforcement that has an EMS license. One of the modules in the course involves weapons handling and are used in a live scenario, and a lot of it involves the down and dirty of rendering medical care, but those are NOT requirements to have a TEMS team.
Course cost depends on enrollment. Public classes are set at a flat rate per person with a minimum enrollment and Department contracted classes are billed at a flat rate for the department with a maximum number of seats.
